Open Call Description:
The EU-LAC Digital Accelerator is an initiative financed under the Neighbourhood, Development & International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe) under the EU-LAC Digital Alliance framework, focused on fostering multi-stakeholder and private sector collaboration, competitiveness, digital skills and innovation, through the establishment of a regional EU-LAC Digital Accelerator.

What’s in for the EU-LAC Partnerships:
Develop your acceleration roadmap:
Guidance and follow-up to define your roadmap and receive the required services to meet your goals.
Receive customised acceleration services:
Hands-on support to deploy your partnership, from proof-of-concept to business modelling and scaling up.
Gain visibility as a successful EU-LAC Partnership:
Showcase your partnership to investors and other EU-LAC stakeholders.
What to offer:
In-kind acceleration services valued at up to €30,000. We offer customised acceleration services to expand new businesses in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean through open innovation and cross-border collaboration.
These services included:
Customised acceleration roadmap;
Design and implementation of a proof-of-concept;
Market Validation of its business model;
Assessment of its investment and scaling readiness.
Application Process:
Submit administrative information and partnership description and declare the existence of a partnership agreement by 31 October, 2024. Please read carefully the Application Guidelines before submitting your application. Applications are processed “first come, first served”.
Applications are evaluated based on market opportunity, innovation, implementation plan, team, and impact. Evaluations are conducted by two evaluators, with a third if there is significant discrepancy.
Applicants will be notified of outcomes by 22 November, 2024. Selected partnerships will sign a collaboration agreement and start the acceleration program.
Who is the Open Call designed for:
The Call is open to EU-LAC Partnerships that:
Address digital transformation challenges through Open Innovation.
Involve at least one Corporate and one Start-up or innovative SME.
Include partners from at least two of the following regions: the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Have signed an agreement establishing the scope of the partnership (or plan to do so before the start of the acceleration process).
