About the Event

IMR and AMIC’s Aerospace Technology Summit is an all-Ireland event uniting two of Ireland’s leading Research and Technology Centres to showcase the latest supply chain and manufacturing innovations for the aerospace sector. Supported by EEN and Enterprise Ireland. The Aerospace Technology Summit will provide a focused forum for industry and research leaders to examine the future of aerospace manufacturing across the island of Ireland.

As global aerospace supply chains evolve and sustainability, digitalisation, and advanced materials move to the forefront, this event will spotlight the technologies, capabilities, and collaborative models required to remain competitive. Through expert insights, industry case studies, and structured networking, attendees will gain practical understanding of how advanced manufacturing, automation, and additive technologies can be deployed to strengthen resilience, accelerate innovation, and unlock new growth opportunities within the aerospace sector.

What You Will Gain

Gain practical insights into how advanced manufacturing, automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, and precision machining can be applied within the aerospace supply chain to drive competitiveness, resilience, and sustainable growth.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of:

  • How advanced machining methods support future aerospace production rate enablement;

  • The role of robotics and automation in modern aircraft manufacturing and assembly;

  • How additive manufacturing technologies are being adopted across the aerospace sector;

  • Cutting tool optimisation strategies using hard metal and smart tooling technologies; &

  • Collaborative research and innovation models available to Irish aerospace suppliers.

What to Expect

  • Expert presentations on aerospace machining, robotics, additive manufacturing, and hard metal cutting tool optimisation;

  • Live technology demonstrations showcasing the latest manufacturing capabilities from IMR and AMIC;

  • Structured networking opportunities with peers, researchers, and innovators across the Irish aerospace supply chain; &

  • Support information from Enterprise Ireland, FactoryXChange and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) on funding and commercialisation pathways.

Who Should Attend

  • Research leaders, industry experts, and technology specialists operating within or seeking to enter aerospace manufacturing ecosystem;

  • SMEs exploring advanced materials and FactoryXChange digitalisation services or looking to scale capabilities or access research support through Enterprise Ireland or EEN.
