Service Description

FXC Reference Number: SKPM74101 The introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) marks a significant milestone for Ireland as it transitions from a linear to a circular economy. Starting from 2024 financial year, Irish companies subject to the CSRD will be required to disclose information on their environmental, social, & governance (ESG) performance per European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Recognising CSRD may be a challenging topic for companies and its requirements vary across different stages of business growth, KPMG has developed a CSRD Reporting Service to assist Enterprises in achieving compliance. This service aims to demystify CSRD and clarify its practical implications. Doing so will help align your company’s brand, business strategy, organisational structure, and internal processes with CSRD compliance obligations. The hybrid bootcamp-style workshop service will be delivered by our multi-disciplinary advisory & consulting team to discuss the requirements of CSRD. As part of this service offering, KPMGFA will deliver 2 half-day bootcamp sessions with participants plus an online session. All engagement & preparatory effort to assist your business progress in your ESG/CSRD journey. The focus of this engagement is to: • Develop literacy around CSRD including how it relates to the ESG topic and other ESRS components such as EU Taxonomy and Sustainable Financial Reporting Directive. • Introduce topics such as ‘disclosure’ & ‘materiality’ from various perspectives & highlight any potential impacts, risks, & opportunities (IROs). • Identify the indicators and KPIs by which SMEs can measure their environmental mitigation and adaptation efforts and social contribution (e.g., in manufacturing, energy, building industries). • Examine how SMEs can effectively report and communicate their CSRD information – incl. how to leverage data for supply chain analysis & life-cycle assessment purposes. Upon completion of this service your SME will develop an understanding of: • CSRD disclosure & reporting requirements; • CSRD timelines & deadlines; • Relevant KPIs for CSRD reporting; & • Overview of data requirements for more effective, streamlined reporting. This service is designed for Enterprises. This service must be booked after: • Digital Maturity Assessment (/for Industry). Please note, the Bootcamp will be held if at least 7 SMEs reserve it within a month, if not, a full refund will be issued.
